International Vis Competition in Vienna

I recently returned from Vienna, home of the 16th Annual Vis International Commercial Arbitration Competition. Regarded by law geeks as the Olympics of international trade law, this turned out to be a once in a lifetime experience. Competing were 200+ law schools from all over the world. We had the privilege of facing the University of Zagreb (Croatia), ITAM (Mexico), University of Lausanne (Switzerland), and a team from Warsaw, Poland.
We could not have hoped for better weather during our visit. It stayed around 70 degrees the whole time we were there, and it cooled down to the 60s in the evenings. This made it perfect for sightseeing and picture-taking during the daytime and strolling the plazas at nighttime.

Mommy's wonderful Birthday in NYC!

Thanks to Chris' dad, who does a lot of traveling, we were able to stay in a beautiful hotel right in the middle of Times Square. We headed down to NYC, early Friday and stayed until Sat evening for my birthday. It was a wonderful trip and we had a lot of fun. We took Missoni to the children's museum on Friday and night and she didn't want to leave. Then we had dinner at this fabulous Italian restaurant that we still talk about finding again to eat there. The next morning we headed down to China town and strolled around, then walked down to Central Park, where we spent the afternoon enjoying our first 70 degree day in months. It was a wonderful weekend. I am so glad that we are able to experience some nice things, thanks to both of our families who help us out. Thanks family!
